NOTE: you MAY link to this tut. you MAY print it out for later use offline. you MAY NOT claim it as yours or take anything else from it. this tutorial is ©Ruby/Stormlight, written December 12, 2014.

Supplies needed:
-- PSP
-- main tube of choice.   I used Andy Cooper's Sweater Blue, which you can purchase here.

-- scrap kit of choice (I used the made-to-match kit "First Snow" by Disturbed Scraps.  you can purchase it here.)
-- template of choice.  I am using Timeline template #8 by Millie.  You can visit her blog for lots of great templates of all sorts.
-- Jazzy's "basic" drop shadow setting of 2, 2, 50, 3 and color black.
-- alpha or font of choice.  I used the alpha that came with the kit.

Now, let's create!

Cover:
1.   Open template, duplicate, close original and save as a new canvas.  Delete the credit layer, snowflakes layer and layer 3 (the gray strip).

2.  Click layer 4 (the dotted rectangle on the right) and flip it (Control-I).

3.  Use your raster deform tool to make layers 5 and 6 (rounded rectangle and its frame) larger.

4.  Paste in your tube.  Apply Jazzy's drop shadow.  Move this layer under layer 6.  Select layer 6 and click outside it with magic wand.  Selections > modify > expand by 4.  Return to tube layer and hit the delete key.

5.  Select a scenic or patterned paper from your kit (I chose Paper7).  Paste under your tube layer, resize as needed and drag to show the section of pattern/scene of your choice.  Repeat the latter half of step 4 to frame it.

6.  Paste in a second paper of choice as the bottom layer.  Resize if needed.

7.  Time to get your elements on.  Numbers apply to the scrap kit I'm using so if you're using a different one, use the elements of your choice.  All elements are resized with the smart size setting.  Remember to apply Jazzy's basic drop shadow after each element is placed unless otherwise marked:

77 (icicle border) - lower opacity to 76%, place along top of cover and drop layer to just above your background paper.  NO drop shadow.
16 (snowflake) - 30%.  place along upper left edge of frame.
13 (frosted rose) - 25%. place in lower right corner of frame.
1 (pinecone) - 20%.  place next to frosted rose.
27 (tree) - 60%.  place on left hand side of cover.
49 (snowbird) - 20%.  perch him on the pine cone.
41 (Samoyed dog) - 50%.  place him along the bottom of your framed tube.
65 ("winter" word art) - 35%.  place along bottom over top of dog's paws.
79 (sparkle trail) - place at random.  NO drop shadow.

8.  Return to layer 6 (rectangle frame).  Go to 3D effects > inner bevel and apply the following settings:

9.  If you're using an alpha, copy the letters of your choice from the alpha file.  Resize as needed and merge these layers together.

10.  In your plugins menu, go to Eye Candy > Gradient Glow and apply the following settings to your name:

11.  Create a new layer for your copyright/watermark and add it on along the top.  *Remember that you cannot use urls on Facebook due to their rules, so the next best alternative is to credit the artist's or store's FB page - for S&CO tubes, I would put @ScrapsNCompany*

Profile Photo:
1.  Open a new canvas, 180x180.  Copy background paper and paste into canvas.  Resize if needed to show a different area of the pattern.

2.  Copy your tube and paste into canvas.  Resize/drag to position to your liking.

3.  Copy the icicle and tree element layers and drop under the tube.  Put the icicles along the top like on the banner.  Put the tree layer over the icicles and move it to the far left so that only a few branches show.

4.  Open element 34 (snowflake ornament) and paste into canvas.  Resize to 15% and hang from tree branches.

5.  Copy large snowflake element from banner and paste in.  Place in lower right corner and position so that only part of it shows in the corner.

6.  [optional] Copy snowbird from banner and paste in.  Resize to 70% and perch him on the end of the large snowflake corner element.

7.  Create a new raster layer and floodfill with white.  Click your magic wand inside the layer and go to selections > modify > contract by 5.  Hit your delete key.  Repeat step 8 from banner directions to give the border a bevel.

8.  Repeat steps 9-11 from banner directions for your initial and copyright.

And you're now done!
