CT TUTORIAL ~ A Heart for Autism

NOTE: you MAY link to this tut. you MAY print it out for later use offline. you MAY NOT claim it as yours or take anything else from it. this tutorial is ©Ruby/Stormlight, written April 17, 2016.

Supplies needed:
-- PSP
-- main tube of choice.   I am using Ribbon Autism by Andy Cooper.  You can purchase her here.

-- scrap kit of choice.   I am using a gorgeous matching kit by Chili Designs, "Autism Awareness", which you can purchase here.
-- Jazzy's basic drop shadow setting of 2, 2, 50, 3 and color black.
-- font of choice.  I am using FB Fascination.

1.  Open a new canvas, 650x200.  Select a bright colored paper from your kit and paste it as your background.

2.  Paste in your tube and resize as needed.  Apply drop shadow and place on left hand side of canvas.

3.  Open a ribbon element and paste behind tube.  Resize 70% and apply drop shadow.

4.   Choose 2-4 random elements (I chose the puzzle pieces) and resize each to 30-40%, then apply drop shadowDuplicate each once and place them at random across the canvas.

5.   Open three flower elements and one butterfly element of choice.  Paste in each and apply drop shadow.  Resize flowers to 35% and butterfly to 30%.  Arrange flowers a small group on the opposite side from your tube.  Merge these layers together.  Place butterfly on or near flowers.

6.  Open word art of choice and place on canvas near top center.  [optional - apply basic drop shadow]

7.  Choose a sparkle/glitter element and place where preferred.

8.  Take a ribbon or other straight element (I am using a thin Lego block) and paste in.  Resize to 20-45% depending on the original size of the element and place along bottom edge of banner.  Duplicate and place around all four edges to create a border, then merge border layers together.

9.  Create a new raster layer for your name.  Type your name and position it to your liking.  Apply the following Inner Bevel settings, then apply the basic drop shadow but change the color to blue and raise the opacity to 75%:

10Create a new layer for your copyright/watermark and add it on.

1.  Create new canvas - size 180x180.

2.  Paste in a paper of choice as your background.

3.  Paste in your main tube layer.  Resize if needed.

4.  Paste in a second paper.  Select all > modify > contract by 4 > delete to create a border.

5.  Paste in two background elements of choice from banner and position to your liking behind tube layer.

6.  Paste in sparkle layer on top of tube and position where preferred.

7.  Repeat steps 9 and 10 for your initial and copyright.
